Uniting Faith: Reaching Spanish America for Christ
Faith Facts
- The Herald of Truth ministry is dedicated to spreading the message of Jesus to the growing Hispanic population in the U.S. and Latin America.
- Congregations such as the Green Bay Church of Christ are embracing bilingual worship and outreach to serve their diverse community.
- The ministry’s current initiative, MESA, aims to establish or strengthen 100 Spanish-speaking ministries by 2052.
Herald of Truth has shifted its focus to supporting Spanish-language evangelism in places like Cuba, Honduras, and the United States, using modern technology and Christian unity to reach those hungry for the Gospel.
Bilingual worship brings together believers from many backgrounds, fostering fellowship and breaking down language barriers by focusing on faith and family in Christ.
“My biggest hope would be that we can work together and that we not separate or segregate the church,” said Diego Rojas, bilingual preaching minister in Green Bay.
Chase Turner, Herald of Truth President, emphasizes the urgency: “There are 65 million Hispanics living in the U.S. right now… It’s the fastest-growing demographic, and I haven’t seen a whole lot of organizations or churches doing an effective job in helping Hispanics reach Hispanics.”
The fruits of these efforts are clear as dozens of Spanish-speaking ministries have been launched, bringing more souls to Christ and strengthening the bonds of Christian community.
“A lot of things happened that made us see that this was the best thing to do to serve the church,” reflected Diego Rojas about moving his family to Green Bay to lead this mission work.
As more countries and cultures find unity in Christ, the church continues shining as a beacon of hope, faith, and freedom for all seeking a new spiritual home.
Be inspired by what God is doing today through dedicated ministries and believers responding to His call, reminding us that the love of Christ knows no boundaries.
