Christian believers today face a defining moment, as the world awaits our faithful response to the suffering in the Holy Land. Our actions and prayers have the power to uphold or hinder our gospel witness, especially among those longing for hope and peace in the Middle East.
As followers of Christ, we are called to champion the gospel of reconciliation, refusing to let politics distort our witness to Jesus’ love and justice. This is a time to let biblical compassion speak louder than divisions, showing the world Christ-centered unity.

While standing with Israel in past tragedies, the Church must now extend Christ’s compassion to all innocent victims in Gaza as well, recognizing their suffering without diminishing anyone’s pain. The Bible compels us to reject both antisemitism and the dehumanization of Palestinians, as both grieve the heart of God.
Faithful Christians can take three vital steps: pray for peace in Jerusalem, Gaza, and the whole region; review their theology to align with Christ’s love for all; and stand publicly with believers in Israel and Palestine, keeping the cross central to our witness.

Only a scriptural response—grounded in justice, peacemaking, and truth—will break the cycle of violence and offer genuine hope. Through patient prayer and principled action, the Church can reflect the compassion and righteousness that Christ demands of His people.
