Survey Finds Christian Nationalists Skip Church Attendance
Faith Facts
- A recent survey from Theos reveals that most Christian nationalists do not attend church regularly.
- The findings prompt questions about whether political beliefs align with Jesus’ teachings among regular churchgoers.
- Christian values emphasize faith, family, and freedom as foundational to traditional American life.
A new survey from Theos suggests the majority of Christian nationalists do not go to Church. But the findings also raise uncomfortable questions for regular churchgoers about how closely their political beliefs align with the teachings of Jesus, says Krish Kandiah.
Many Americans who hold strong patriotic views rooted in biblical principles still prioritize regular worship and community involvement.
Church attendance remains a cornerstone of faithful Christian living and civic responsibility.
“The findings also raise uncomfortable questions for regular churchgoers about how closely their political beliefs align with the teachings of Jesus.”
Believers are called to examine their hearts and ensure their convictions reflect the love and truth of Scripture.
Traditional American values of faith, family, and freedom continue to guide many citizens in their daily walk with Christ.

South Carolina Library Board Moves Explicit Books Out of Teen Section
Faith Facts
- The Bible teaches parents to guard their children from harmful influences, as stated in Proverbs 22:6.
- Scripture calls believers to stand for righteousness and protect the innocence of the next generation.
- Traditional American values emphasize parental rights and community oversight of public institutions.
A South Carolina public library board has voted to overrule staff and relocate four books containing sexually explicit content and LGBT ideology from the children’s and teen sections to the adult area.
The decision came after community members raised concerns about the material being accessible to minors. Board members cited their responsibility to protect young readers from inappropriate content.
“We have a duty to ensure that our libraries remain safe spaces for families,” one trustee stated.
Staff had previously defended keeping the books in the youth sections, arguing that removal constituted censorship. The board rejected that position and placed the responsibility for access on parents rather than public institutions.
Critics of the board’s action have labeled it an attack on diversity. Supporters counter that the move simply aligns library policy with age-appropriate standards long upheld by parents and communities.
The books in question include graphic depictions and themes that many families find incompatible with Christian values and traditional upbringing. Parents have expressed gratitude that elected trustees listened to their concerns rather than deferring to library staff.

- Authorities have charged the pastor with wire fraud and money laundering.
Authorities in Washington state say a pastor used his pulpit to solicit millions of dollars for an internet company that never existed.
The pastor allegedly pocketed more than $13 million from parishioners and other investors before brushing off their concerns as spiritual attacks.
“Demon-possessed” is how the pastor reportedly described church members who asked for their money back.
Federal prosecutors charged the pastor with wire fraud and money laundering after a lengthy investigation into the alleged scheme.
Victims say the pastor used his position of spiritual authority to pressure believers into handing over life savings and retirement funds.
The case has sent shockwaves through congregations across the state and renewed calls for greater accountability among church leaders.

The Protestant Reformation Legacy That Shaped American Faith and Freedom
Faith Facts
- The Protestant Reformation restored the authority of Scripture as the final rule for faith and practice.
- The movement defended the biblical doctrine that salvation comes by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
- Reformation principles of religious liberty and individual conscience helped lay the foundation for America’s constitutional freedoms.
To understand the Reformation and its lasting influence, we have to imagine a very different world from our own.
The early 1500s were marked by spiritual darkness as the Word of God was largely hidden from ordinary people. Church leaders claimed the sole right to interpret Scripture, while traditions and man-made rules often overshadowed the clear teaching of the Bible.
Into this setting, God raised up faithful men like Martin Luther who dared to stand on the truth of Scripture alone. When Luther nailed his Ninety-Five Theses to the Wittenberg church door in 1517, he was not seeking fame but calling the church back to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
“The just shall live by faith,”
he declared, quoting Scripture to defend the truth that salvation is a gift of God received through faith, not earned through works or purchased with money.
The Reformation quickly spread across Europe as ordinary men and women embraced the Bible in their own language. William Tyndale and others risked their lives to translate and distribute God’s Word, believing every believer had the right and responsibility to read Scripture for themselves.
“I will cause a boy that driveth the plough shall know more of the Scripture than thou dost,”
Tyndale famously told a critic, reflecting the Reformation conviction that the gospel belongs to all people, not just a religious elite.
These same principles of biblical authority and religious liberty crossed the Atlantic with the Pilgrims and Puritans. The American founders, shaped by a Protestant worldview, enshrined freedom of conscience in the First Amendment, protecting the right to worship according to the dictates of Scripture rather than the commands of government.
Today the Reformation continues to bear fruit in the lives of faithful Christians who hold fast to the authority of God’s Word, the finished work of Christ on the cross, and the liberty that flows from the gospel. The truths recovered five centuries ago remain the solid foundation for both personal salvation and the preservation of religious freedom in our nation.
