Faith Facts

  • John the Baptist boldly spoke truth and faced persecution for upholding God’s Word against corruption.
  • The heroes of Flight 93, inspired by their faith and conviction, sacrificed their lives to confront evil on 9/11.
  • Recently, Charlie Kirk’s unwavering faith and commitment to Christian truth cost him his life amidst today’s challenges.

Throughout history, courageous men and women have chosen to stand firm for God’s truth, regardless of the personal cost. John the Baptist, Todd Beamer, and Charlie Kirk exemplified what it means to live out faith in the face of political and moral adversity.

“Blessed is the one who is not offended by me.” (Matthew 11:6)

John the Baptist spoke openly against Herod’s sinful actions, which led to his imprisonment and eventual martyrdom, reflecting the costly path of righteousness.

On September 11, 2001, the passengers of Flight 93, led by Todd Beamer—a follower of Christ—bravely acted to prevent further destruction, sacrificing themselves for others’ safety.

“Let’s Roll!”

Walking the grounds where Flight 93 fell serves as a powerful reminder of the courage shown through faith and selfless sacrifice.

In recent days, Charlie Kirk’s devotion to sharing the Gospel and standing for biblical principles culminated in his untimely death, echoing the faithful examples before him.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

Charlie’s declaration, “Jesus defeated death so you could live,” testifies to the hope we have in Christ—a hope that withstands even the harshest trials.

Jesus himself calls us to self-denial and faithfulness: “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 16:24-25)

The examples of John the Baptist, the heroes of Flight 93, and Charlie Kirk inspire today’s believers to remain steadfast in faith, trusting that Christ rewards faithfulness.

As Jim Elliott reminds us, “A man is no fool to give what he cannot keep, to gain what he cannot lose.”

Our mission is not yet complete. Let us courageously continue to stand for Christ, knowing our labor is not in vain and will be richly rewarded by our faithful Savior.
