A transformative nationwide initiative led by the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary has reached more than 1,200 rural churches in its first year.
This mission equips pastors in small towns with the spiritual and practical resources needed to serve their communities.
By targeting towns with fewer than 10,000 residents, the program aims to ensure that no community is overlooked in the Great Commission.
This effort strengthens the spiritual backbone of rural America.
Keith Jones, director for the Rural Grant Partnership, emphasized the vital role these congregations play in local communities.
“AGTS wants to see healthy, vibrant churches equipped to be resource centers within their communities, providing an anchor of real hope and assistance,” Jones said.
This growth reflects a hunger for biblical truth and the enduring importance of faith-based leadership in every corner of the nation.
As these rural light houses grow, they provide the moral foundation necessary for a free and virtuous society.
