Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., released a new batch of entries from Dr. Anthony Fauci’s personal diary Wednesday.
The entries, dating from between 2015 and 2019, include remarks critical of President Donald Trump.
The Kentucky Republican shared the documents as part of his ongoing review of Fauci’s records and communications.
“Early-onset Trump derangement syndrome,” Paul said in reference to the diary content.
The newly released pages show Fauci expressing negative views toward the president years before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Paul’s release comes amid continued scrutiny of Fauci’s influence on federal health policy and public messaging.
