Pastors Urged to Defend Life in Wake of Tragedy
Faith Facts
- Christian leaders are calling pastors to speak boldly on abortion and the sanctity of unborn life.
- The call follows Charlie Kirk’s assassination and a resulting increase in church attendance, particularly among young adults.
- A survey found that less than half of churchgoers hear regular teaching about abortion at their church.
A coalition letter, supported by respected Christian leaders, is urging pastors to address abortion from the pulpit and to stand for biblical truth in a culture facing moral crisis.
The letter emphasizes that abortion is not a secondary issue, but a defining matter of faith and morality for today’s church.
“Among the great moral crises of our time, none is more urgent or devastating than abortion — the destruction of countless innocent lives created in the image of God.”
The document highlights a renewed hunger for truth after the loss of Charlie Kirk and points to rising church attendance as evidence of spiritual seeking, especially among the next generation.
Leadership from organizations like Human Coalition and Family Research Council urge that silence from church leaders leaves congregations vulnerable and that the church must defend the unborn with courage and compassion.
The letter calls on churches to proclaim hope to those affected by abortion and encourages equipping believers to defend the vulnerable in society, upholding the foundational Christian values of life and forgiveness in Christ.
“Abortion is not merely one issue among many. It is a Gospel issue. It is the defining moral crisis of our day. And it is a moment in history when the Church must rise and speak with one voice.”
Let us pray that our churches boldly affirm life, offer grace and hope, and shepherd congregations faithfully in these trying times. Join this movement to uphold biblical truth and cherish every life as a precious gift of God.

Puerto Rico Defends Unborn With Personhood Law
Faith Facts
- Puerto Rico has enacted a law granting unborn children full legal personhood from conception.
- Senate Bill 504 amends the Civil Code, recognizing unborn children as natural persons with legal rights and protections.
- This legislative action affirms a biblical respect for life and encourages similar measures across America.
Puerto Rico’s new law enshrines the right to life for the unborn, granting them the same legal standing as every other person. The law clarifies that unborn children have legal rights from conception, with inheritance rights and protections extending to them.
It specifies that parents or guardians can represent the unborn in legal matters, including health insurance, property, and labor rights. The law maintains the ability of pregnant women to make lawful decisions regarding their pregnancy.
“Puerto Rico’s clear and courageous recognition of preborn babies as persons reflects a deep respect for life and provides a powerful example for lawmakers throughout the United States,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life.
The legislature overwhelmingly approved the bill, and it took effect immediately upon signing by the governor. Puerto Rico joins a number of U.S. states with laws recognizing unborn children as persons, reinforcing the principle that life is sacred from its earliest moments.
As Christians, we are called to protect the vulnerable and uphold the sanctity of life, celebrating actions that defend the unborn who are made in God’s image. Stay informed and share the truth—together we can build a culture that cherishes every life from conception to natural end.

400 Girls Missing: The Cost of Sex-Selective Abortions
Faith Facts
- Right To Life UK reports 400 girls are missing due to sex-selective abortions in Britain.
- Sex-selective abortion is illegal under British law, yet statistics reveal an imbalance in birth ratios within certain communities.
- Christian voices are calling for legislative action and a defense of the unborn, particularly vulnerable girls.
The Right To Life UK group has highlighted a troubling trend.
It estimates that 400 girls are unaccounted for in Britain as a result of sex-selective abortion practices.
These findings come despite clear government statements that such procedures are illegal and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.
The Department of Health and Social Care confirmed:
“Sex-selective abortion is illegal in England and Wales and will not be tolerated.”
“Sex is not a lawful ground for termination of pregnancy.”
However, some groups argue that the existing law is not explicit enough, leading to ongoing debates about what constitutes a legal abortion.
Right To Life UK analyzed birth statistics from 2017 to 2021.
They uncovered a significant gender imbalance in the Indian community after multiple births, suggesting sex-selective practices.
“It’s irresponsible for BPAS to publish advice suggesting that sex-selective abortion is not illegal, because it risks normalising sex-selective abortion and is likely encouraging abortions sought purely because of a baby’s sex,”
said Catherine Robinson, spokesperson for Right To Life UK.
She warned that vulnerable women may find it more difficult to stand against pressure from families.
This can happen when such advice is given credence.
As stewards of life, Christians must resolutely defend those most at risk and urge government officials to fulfill their duty in ending this injustice.
Let your voice be heard and join the effort to protect every precious child made in God’s image.

Danny Kruger Urges Christian Confidence for Britain
Faith Facts
- Danny Kruger MP, who recently joined the Reform Party, has called for Britain to embrace its deep Christian heritage and identity.
- Kruger emphasizes renewing family life, empowering local communities, and restoring the country’s Christian-based values.
- He believes nations, when rightly ordered, honor God and that belonging to one’s country is part of God’s design.
Reform MP Danny Kruger believes that Britain should boldly reclaim its Christian roots and align public life more closely with Christ’s teachings.
He previously left the Conservative Party due to its internal strife and failure to drive meaningful reform.
In a recent interview with fellow Christian MP Tim Farron, Kruger discussed the importance of radical but conservative reform grounded in biblical values.
Kruger stated, “We need radical, but conservative reform. My focus is on reforming government itself. People vote for change, but nothing really changes because ministers can’t implement bold decisions.”
He seeks the restoration of the nation’s culture, economy, and defenses, guided by Christian principles.
While Kruger clarifies that his goal is not to “Christianise” Britain in a coercive way, he hopes for a nation that confidently acknowledges its Christian heritage and finds happiness through the teachings of Jesus.
Kruger explained, “Nations, rightly ordered, are a good thing,” and emphasized that God values the unique place He has given each people.
Tim Farron’s journey reflects the challenges Christian leaders face in politics, highlighting the difficulty of upholding biblical truth in secular parties.
As people of faith, it is our duty to support leaders who boldly uphold Christian values, while praying for our nation to return to the foundations that honor God and bless families.
