- Attendees stressed the need for continued action and prayerful advocacy.
Faith-filled Americans gathered in Washington, D.C., to support the sanctity of life at the 53rd annual March for Life. Many voiced gratitude for recent progress but called for steadfastness in pursuing pro-life goals rooted in Christian convictions.
Vice President JD Vance addressed the faithful, igniting both support and concerns about the depth of the administration’s efforts. While some expressed disagreement over his invitation, others valued his public stand for life.
“All life is made in the image of Him. Every cell in your body was specifically designed by Him. Killing that off is dishonoring God’s creation, His imagination. We need to honor that as … His creation.”
Young Christians like Stella Mae and Noelle shared that their faith guides their view of politics and the defense of life. The march reminded them that change comes from prayer, advocacy, and public witness.
Pro-life leaders such as Marla Mercer encouraged believers to persevere, asking for continued action to defund abortion providers and safeguard taxpayer dollars. “The administration is not perfect, but we can keep working towards those goals, and we need to keep pressing and going forward,” Mercer shared.
Kathleen Block echoed this resolve, stating her gratitude that leaders are “for saving babies, and that’s what’s important.” Attendees agreed that defending life remains a central calling for the faithful.
