During a recent White House briefing, Karoline Leavitt spotlighted vandalism targeting ICE vehicles in Minnesota and decried the inflammatory conduct of certain Democratic leaders. She addressed mounting unrest, stating that President Trump still regards the Insurrection Act as a tool to restore order and protect federal officers.
“I think the president’s Truth Social post spoke very loud and clear to Democrats across this country—elected officials who are using their platforms to encourage violence against federal law enforcement officers,” Leavitt emphasized.
Leavitt drew attention to how left-wing agitators obstruct lawful operations and condemned Democrat leaders for withholding support from law enforcement. She cited examples of effective cooperation in states like Florida, crediting God-fearing leadership for the peace maintained there.
Footage from recent Minneapolis unrest showed anti-ICE demonstrators attacking vehicles and federal property while hurling hateful messages at officers, which Leavitt described as a direct result of toxic rhetoric from progressive politicians.
“They are simply trying to enforce the law,” Leavitt said. “And the Democrat Party has demeaned these individuals. They even refer to them as Nazis and as the Gestapo, and that is absolutely leading to the violence we’re seeing in the street.”
She argued that people are emboldened by leaders who make them believe such actions are justified. Leavitt also confronted media figures who mischaracterize ICE, urging them to report truthfully on the harm caused by illegal immigration to American citizens.
“The brave men and women of ICE are doing everything in their power to remove those heinous individuals and make our communities safer,” she concluded, highlighting the calling to defend the innocent and uphold law and order.
