  • Prayers were offered for unity, repentance, and the preservation of religious liberty in the United States.

Christian leaders gathered at the Museum of the Bible, focusing on the importance of faithfulness and seeking God’s favor as the nation marks its 250th anniversary. Speakers warned that forgetting America’s founding values would risk losing the freedoms the nation was built upon.

House Speaker Mike Johnson emphasized the nation’s unique heritage and urged repentance to preserve liberty for future generations. Johnson highlighted that America was established upon a Judeo-Christian foundation and called on believers to act courageously in defending these principles.

“We know the results are in your hands, but let us be found faithful. We are so grateful to be Americans. We do not take this for granted,” Johnson declared.

Senator Ted Cruz’s prayer asked God to heal the nation’s divisions and renewed a call for Americans to seek God’s guidance as in days past. He voiced gratitude for the nation’s founding as a land of religious freedom and prayed for hearts to turn back to Jesus daily.

“Father, we come to you, and we ask that you heal this land. Bring about a new day in America,” Cruz prayed.

In a time of celebration and challenge, these voices unite in reaffirming devotion to faith, humility, and patriotism. Stand with fellow believers in praying for spiritual renewal and the preservation of America’s heritage of faith and freedom.
