Kentucky Baptist Youth Summit Sets Record
Faith Facts
- More than 1,300 youth attended the Kentucky Baptist Youth Evangelism Summit in Bowling Green.
- This year’s summit saw the highest attendance in years, far surpassing previous records.
- The event focused on equipping young believers to share the Gospel and serve their communities.
God is moving powerfully among the next generation as the Kentucky Baptist Youth Evangelism Summit welcomed 1,337 participants at Hillvue Heights Church this February. This record turnout reflects a rising passion among youth to live out their faith and impact their communities for Christ.
Mainstage and breakout sessions encouraged students to become Gospel-centered leaders who can stand firm in a culture often at odds with Christian values.
Matt Flanagan, Children & Student Ministry Consultant for the Kentucky Baptist Convention, expressed his gratitude, saying:
“We believe the Lord is growing the conference to equip more teenagers to know the Gospel, influence their culture, and go to their communities to reach people.”
Attendees benefited from practical ministry resources and encouragement as they seek to be bold witnesses in their schools and neighborhoods.
Flanagan also testified:
“I believe that our next generations are embracing Christ and recognizing His call to make disciples of all people.”
The summit’s focus remained on genuine discipleship, with ministry leaders from across the state working together in unity and trust to raise up young ambassadors for Christ.
