Jeffress Warns America to Return to God Amid Israel Concerns

America's Crossroads: Biblical Warnings Ignite a Call for Divine Intervention

As America approaches its 250th anniversary, Pastor Robert Jeffress is urging the nation to reclaim its foundational reliance on Almighty God. Reminding his congregation of the Constitutional Convention of 1787, Jeffress highlighted how the Founding Fathers sought divine intervention during their most difficult disagreements.

Benjamin Franklin notably challenged the delegates with a sobering question during that historic meeting in Philadelphia.

“Have we now forgotten this powerful friend? Or do we imagine that we no longer need His assistance?”

Liberty in America has always been anchored in recognizing God as our protector, a truth echoed by Abraham Lincoln during the darkest days of the Civil War. Even amidst the staggering losses at Chickamauga, Lincoln looked heavenward to establish a national day of Thanksgiving to the Creator.

Despite this heritage, Jeffress warned that moral decay and the isolation of Israel could accelerate a national decline. He specifically noted that Scripture provides no guarantee of a prominent role for the United States within End Times prophecy.

True transformation cannot be found in corrupt political parties but only through the saving power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Believers are called to vote for biblical values, pray fervently for the country, and boldly share the Word of God.
