  • Sergio Noe De Nova Duarte, a 17-year-old Mexican national, is accused of assaulting a woman jogging in Plano, Texas.
  • Authorities say he entered the U.S. legally in 2016 but overstayed his visa and was later released by the Biden administration despite a criminal record.
  • ICE has now lodged a detainer, preventing his release pending federal proceedings, following charges of aggravated kidnapping with bodily injury.
