This weeklong marathon serves as a spiritual call for the nation to return to its foundational biblical values before America’s 250th anniversary.
Christians Engaged founder Bunni Pounds emphasized that the well-being of the country depends on the American people returning to daily interaction with God’s Word.
She believes this unified effort is an offering to Jesus that can help heal the leadership crisis currently facing our land.
“Wouldn’t it be awesome if our national leaders had an Ezra moment and they told the American people the power of the Bible and called the American people back to daily Bible reading?”
As believers gather at the Museum of the Bible and other venues, the event serves as a reminder that political and cultural influence must flow from a deep devotion to the Lord.
