Florida Pastor Receives 12 Life Sentences in Child Abuse Case
A former Florida pastor has been sentenced to 12 life terms following a jury’s conviction on multiple counts of child sexual abuse and possession of illegal materials. Jonathan Edward Elwing, who previously led Palm View First Baptist Church, was found guilty of 12 felony offenses after overwhelming evidence was presented during his trial.
