The Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission has taken a firm step toward biblical fidelity by electing Dr. Evan Lenow as its new president. Trustees met in Nashville this week and voted unanimously to appoint the 47-year-old scholar to lead the convention’s public policy and moral arm.

Dr. Lenow currently serves at Mississippi College and brings a wealth of academic rigor and deep theological conviction to this vital role.

His leadership comes at a critical moment when Southern Baptists require a shepherd’s heart to navigate the complex moral challenges of a secularizing culture.
