  • Leaders urged the Evangelical community to help reduce violence through development rooted in family values.

President Rodrigo Chaves and President-elect Laura Fernández recently gathered with the Federation of the Costa Rican Evangelical Alliance to bridge the gap between governance and faith.

This meeting underscores the role Christian organizations can play in offering moral guidance and social support.

As the country prepares for a leadership transition on May 8, both leaders emphasized the need to protect the family unit and religious liberty.

By focusing on the marginalized, the administration aims to reflect Biblical values of compassion and stewardship.

“I thank God and the people of Costa Rica, because the mandate we received at the ballot box was very clear,” President-elect Fernández stated.

“I know I do not walk alone. I know someone walks with me, that I am held in the palm of His hand and protected.”

We must pray for our neighbors in Costa Rica, asking that they remain steadfast in their devotion to God.

May their leaders prioritize Biblical morality and seek true national prosperity through faith and righteousness.
