  • A new Christian campaign, Greater Than, seeks to overturn the Supreme Court’s 2015 same-sex marriage ruling.
  • Leading groups such as Focus on the Family and the American Family Association support this effort, which emphasizes that children deserve both a mother and father.
  • The campaign mobilizes churches and aims to change public opinion and advance a judicial strategy rooted in Biblical truth.

Christian leaders and organizations are rallying together to restore God’s design for marriage and the family.

The Greater Than campaign brings a coalition of faith-based advocates committed to upholding the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman.

“When marriage was redefined in 2015, parenthood was too. Once husbands and wives became optional, mothers and fathers became replaceable,” the campaign’s website declares.

Supporters argue that children thrive best when raised by both their mother and father, a conviction deeply rooted in Scripture and Christian values.

The campaign aims to educate Americans about the Biblical foundation for marriage and the critical importance of both mothers and fathers in the lives of children.

Katy Faust, founder of Them Before Us, explained that the movement was launched as the tenth anniversary of the controversial decision approaches, realizing no organized effort yet sought to reverse it.

Three-pronged in its approach, the initiative includes judicial action, shifting public opinion, and empowering churches of all denominations to defend natural marriage as God’s plan for protecting children.

The 2015 Supreme Court decision, authored by Justice Anthony Kennedy, struck down state bans on same-sex marriage in a close 5-4 vote.

Although past legal efforts have not succeeded, movement leaders remain steadfast, focusing on the right of children to their biological parents and the enduring Biblical definition of marriage.

“Children have lost their mother or father. They are being commodified. Parental rights themselves are being weakened because of gay marriage,” Faust emphasized.

Faith and patriotism drive this renewed push to defend marriage and family as designed by God. Stand with fellow believers to protect the next generation and uphold foundational Christian values in our nation.
