Christians Unite in Prayer for Abducted Pilot
Faith Facts
- Missionary pilot Kevin Rideout was abducted from his home in Niamey, Niger on October 21.
- Rideout has served the people of Niger since 2010, providing critical transportation for missionaries and humanitarian workers.
- Hope Springs International continues to bring hope to rural communities in Niger through health care, clean water, and agricultural projects.
The Christian community is lifting Kevin Rideout in prayer, trusting the Lord for his safety and release after his abduction in Niger.
Rideout’s faithful service, especially in times of crisis for missionaries and the vulnerable, is a testimony of living out Christ’s call to serve the least of these.
“Welcomed by and spoke to this sea of kids … about 500 last night,” Lee Hodges shared during a previous visit to Niger. “Amazing to hear them praising God with all of their hearts.”
Hope Springs International’s ongoing projects offer life-giving resources and the love of Christ to families across Niger, despite severe security threats and instability in the region.
Let us continue to pray for Kevin Rideout, for the protection of all Christians in Niger, and for the strength and courage of those called to share God’s hope in challenging times.
