Christian MP Danny Kruger has become the most recent parliamentarian to leave the Conservative Party and align himself with Nigel Farage’s Reform party.

Announcing his decision in London, Kruger was given an immediate leadership role in preparing the Reform party for national governance.

In a pointed speech, Kruger declared that the Conservative Party had failed during its time in power and is no longer a meaningful alternative to the Left.

“The party had failed to learn lessons from last year’s brutal election defeat—that centrism is not enough, that real change is needed.”

He lamented the rise of “bigger government, social decline, low wages, high taxes, and less of what ordinary people actually wanted.”

Kruger warned of a nation in crisis, referencing challenges in the economy, border security, public safety, and the military, but encouraged hope through resilient faith and values.

“Yes, we are still a great country, and there are good reasons that so many migrants want to come here, but there are also reasons so many entrepreneurs and young people want to leave.”

Kruger insisted that conservatism, rooted in Christian principles, remains Britain’s best hope, declaring the Conservative Party finished as a national force but not the cause of faith-driven change.

“Our democracy is founded on Christian faith,” he stated, urging a renewal of faith and a rejection of woke ideology in public life.

Now more than ever, Christians are called to stand for truth in the public square, supporting revival rooted in faith, family, and freedom.
