Faith
A Heartfelt Plea for True Salvation
Faith Facts
- Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, not by our own works.
- Scripture teaches that each person will face judgment after death based on their relationship with Christ.
- President Trump was encouraged to accept Christ’s finished work for eternal life.
Christian teacher Dr. RT Kendall expressed concern for President Trump’s understanding of how to reach heaven. He reminded that faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life, not human achievements or accolades.
Dr. Kendall referenced Hebrews 9:27 to emphasize that everyone will stand before God and be judged after death. He lovingly shared a prayer of salvation, inviting President Trump to accept Jesus from the heart.
“It is appointed for people to die once – and after this, judgment” (Hebrews 9:27 – Christian Standard Bible).
“Only one life, ’twill soon be past. Only what’s done for Christ will last.” – C.T. Studd
Lord Jesus Christ, I need you. I want you. I know I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sins. Wash my sins away by your blood. I invite your Holy Spirit to come into my heart. As best as I know how, I give you my life. Amen.
Let us continue to pray earnestly for the hearts of leaders and for bold gospel witness in public life. Stand firm in the truth that salvation is by grace alone, through faith, as we seek first God’s kingdom and righteousness in America.
