  • The Bible was previously gifted by Robert Kardashian to O.J. Simpson to encourage him with the teachings of Jesus during a difficult time.
  • Kim expressed her deep sentimental attachment to her father’s handwritten inscriptions within the Bible.

Kim Kardashian was revealed as the anonymous buyer who reclaimed her father Robert Kardashian’s inscribed Bible, a cherished keepsake once entrusted to O.J. Simpson.

The Bible was signed by Robert Kardashian on June 18, 1994, shortly after Simpson’s arrest, and served as a testimony to his encouragement rooted in faith.

“This is really special to me because this used to be my daddy’s,” she was quoted as saying.

Kim explained to her daughter the Bible’s significance and its connection to sharing Jesus’ message of hope during adversity.

She discussed her efforts to acquire the Bible, first offering to buy it directly and ultimately winning the auction under an alias to bring it home.

Kim later gifted the Bible to her sister as an act of gratitude and family unity, underscoring the importance of faith and remembrance.

She also shared how few belongings she has from her father and the comfort she finds in seeing his handwriting as a lasting legacy.

Robert Kardashian passed away in 2003, remembered by his family for his faith and integrity, while O.J. Simpson died in 2024.

Let us remember that faith-filled family legacies and the living Word have the power to inspire hope and reinforce our Christian heritage from one generation to the next.

  • Leaders highlighted prayer, divine guidance, and spiritual renewal as essential to effective city outreach.

Faithful leaders recently gathered for the 33rd National Urban Ministry Conference to strengthen their resolve in bringing the Gospel to America’s city centers.

Approximately 130 ministers and scholars convened at the Levy Church of Christ to focus on spiritual depth and community impact.

The event centered on the theme “Deeper and Wider,” emphasizing the necessity of abiding in Christ while navigating the unpredictable challenges of urban soul-winning.

Participants highlighted that true change in our cities comes from divine intervention rather than human effort alone.

“In city ministry, it is so easy to take our eyes off Jesus. It is so easy to sink.”

“But even in our moments of little faith, let’s remember that Jesus is going to be there.”

Minister Walter Pierce noted that the power of prayer remains the lifeblood of effective ministry, underscoring that God is the source of all renewal.

The conference serves as a vital strategic hub for those dedicated to preserving Christian values in an increasingly urbanized nation.

As we face the complexities of the modern world, let us pray for these dedicated laborers who bring the light of Christ to our urban communities.

Faith Shines as Believers Rush Bibles to Iran Amid Rising Tensions

For decades, Eastern European Mission has worked to bring the light of the Gospel to those behind the Iron Curtain with unwavering faith.

Today, the ministry is witnessing a remarkable surge in demand for Bibles among Iranians seeking the truth of Christ.

As geopolitical tensions rise, Christian leaders emphasize that no nation is beyond the reach of God’s sovereign grace or the power of His Word.

The thirst for spiritual freedom in the Middle East is growing faster than secular observers ever anticipated.

Faith Facts

  • Iran currently hosts one of the fastest-growing Christian communities in the world.
  • Eastern European Mission has already produced about 90,000 Bibles tailored for various age groups within Iran.
  • The ministry is developing the first-ever New Testament in Gilaki to reach ethnic groups near the Caspian Sea.
  • While 39 languages are spoken across Iran, full Bible translations currently exist in only four of them.

“I’ve seen God move radically in the hearts of the Iranian people, hungry for hope, freedom and justice.”

Lana Silk, CEO of Transform Iran, reminds believers that we must never write off any nation as a lost cause or outside of God’s care.

We are called to be prepared to respond the moment a door opens for the Gospel to spread.

As we pray for peace and protection, our primary mission remains the Great Commission and the stewardship of God’s Word for every tribe and tongue.

May we remain steadfast in our commitment to biblical literacy and the expansion of the Lord’s kingdom.

Christian Astronaut's Lunar Journey Sparks Prayerful Vigil for God's Hand in Space

Faith Facts

  • Artemis II pilot Victor Glover serves as a member of the Southeast Church of Christ and previously carried communion cups and a Bible into orbit.
  • Elder Brent Hankins and NASA veteran Tracy Lamm gathered to support the Glover family, viewing the launch as a testament to God’s glory and human purpose.
  • Glover famously observed that while people say there are no atheists in foxholes, he believes there are none on top of rockets either.

A historic lunar voyage is underway as Northwest Houston church elder Brent Hankins and NASA veteran Tracy Lamm witnessed the Artemis II launch this week.

Their presence honored pilot Victor Glover, a dedicated Christian brother and Navy captain embarking on humanity’s first moon mission in over half a century.

The mission highlights how faith and high-stakes exploration go hand-in-hand for those serving at the edge of the heavens.

Glover has previously shared his reliance on Scripture and his commitment to honoring God while representing the United States in space.

“I want to use the abilities that God has given me to do my job well and support my crewmates and mission and NASA.”

As the spacecraft journeys nearly 250,000 miles, the Glover family relies on regular Scripture reading to find peace amidst the natural nerves of such a monumental task.

The congregation remains in prayer for the safety of the crew and that the Lord’s name remains glorified throughout this journey.

Join us in praying for these brave explorers as they demonstrate that our reach for the stars is guided by the Hand that created them.
