Astronaut’s Faith Shines Bright During Space Stranding
In a world where faith, family, and freedom are often challenged, the inspiring story of NASA astronaut Butch Wilmore serves as a beacon of hope and a testament to the power of unwavering faith. Recently, Wilmore, who was stranded in space for nine months, shared profound insights that resonate deeply with those who cherish traditional values and the guiding light of Christian faith.
When asked about the life lessons he gleaned from his unexpected extended stay in orbit, Wilmore’s response was rooted in his steadfast belief in Jesus Christ. “It’s bound in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” he declared, emphasizing the central role that faith played during his time in the vastness of space.
Wilmore’s reflections highlight the significance of trusting in God’s divine plan, even when circumstances seem daunting. “He is working out his plan and his purposes for his glory throughout all of humanity, and how that plays into our lives is significant and important,” he explained. This perspective underscores the importance of placing our trust in a higher power, knowing that every challenge and triumph is part of a greater purpose.
The astronaut further elaborated, “I understand that He’s at work in all things, some things are for the good — go to Hebrews chapter 11 — and some things look to us to be not so good. But it’s all working out for His good, for all those that will believe.” This profound understanding of faith echoes the timeless truth that God’s hand guides every aspect of our lives, shaping us for His glory and our ultimate good.
Wilmore’s journey back to Earth was made possible by the collaborative efforts of SpaceX and NASA. Their commitment to bringing Wilmore and his fellow astronaut, Sunita “Suni” Williams, home safely is a testament to the power of American ingenuity and determination.
As they embarked on their journey back aboard a SpaceX capsule, the resolve and ambition of these leaders to “go get them” reflect the core values of perseverance and patriotism that define our great nation.
In a time when society often seems adrift, stories like Wilmore’s remind us of the enduring strength found in faith and the importance of relying on biblical principles to navigate life’s challenges. His testimony is a powerful reminder that, no matter where we find ourselves, we are never alone when we place our trust in the Lord.

Pastor Greg Locke Responds to Accountability Claims
Faith Facts
- Tennessee Pastor Greg Locke faces allegations regarding leadership and financial practices at Global Vision Bible Church.
- Former pastors Justin and Kasey Greenwell allege a lack of biblical accountability and financial transparency.
- Locke denies these accusations and is considering legal action, emphasizing his commitment to integrity.
Pastor Greg Locke, known for his passionate ministry in Tennessee, addressed serious concerns raised about his leadership at Global Vision Bible Church. These claims center on accusations from former church leaders who question the church’s commitment to biblical governance and financial openness.
Locke firmly stated he has “zero to hide” and expressed readiness to seek legal counsel in light of the accusations.
Former pastors Justin and Kasey Greenwell resigned publicly, asserting the church fell short of New Testament principles, lacking a council of elders and shared responsibility.
“Decisions were not shaped by a functioning board or council of elders. Instead, the weight of leadership and decision making fell entirely on you and Pastor Tai, creating an atmosphere where correction was impossible, disagreement felt dangerous, and accountability simply did not exist,” the Greenwells wrote.
They highlighted the dangers of a structure where authority is concentrated, leading to spiritual vulnerability and a lack of protection for staff and congregants.
Questions were raised about the church’s handling of a failed real estate purchase and the collection of large sums from members, which the Greenwells say lacked transparency.
They emphasized that “Federal guidelines for charitable organizations exist for a reason: to protect donors, congregants, staff members, leadership, and the integrity of the ministry.” The letter calls for proper oversight, aligning with biblical principles of stewardship.
The Greenwells described an environment they believe fostered fear and dependence, arguing that this contradicted scriptural teachings about healthy church relationships.
They urged leadership to pursue repentance and restoration, praying for a return to honest, biblical values within the ministry family.

HHS Targets Harmful Transgender Procedures for Minors
Faith Facts
- Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced new HHS steps to protect children from “sex-rejecting” procedures.
- New rules would prevent hospitals in Medicare and Medicaid from offering transgender surgeries to minors.
- Detransitioner Chloe Cole testified on the profound harm caused by such interventions in her youth.
Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. declared that gender-transition procedures on minors are not responsible medicine, but a threat to children’s health and innocence.
The proposed rules would prohibit federally funded hospitals from performing these irreversible interventions on children, aligning healthcare standards with biblical values.
“So-called ‘gender-affirming care’ has inflicted lasting physical and psychological damage on vulnerable young people.”
Kennedy stated during the press conference.
The announcement was supported by leaders including HHS Deputy Secretary Jim O’Neill, CMS Administrator Mehmet Oz, FDA Commissioner Martin Makary, NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya, and advocate Chloe Cole.
Kennedy emphasized that such medical interventions risk permanent harm, including infertility and changes to healthy development.
Dr. Oz highlighted that medicine should not be influenced by a politicized agenda and condemned the use of children as experimental subjects.
He urged clinicians to pursue the least invasive approach for those struggling with gender dysphoria and warned against financial motives overtaking ethical care.
“The moral test of government is how that government treats those in the dawn of life, the children; those in the twilight of life, the elderly; and those in the shadows of life, the sick, the needy and the handicapped.”
Dr. Oz quoted former Vice President Humphrey.
Chloe Cole offered powerful testimony, sharing the deep emotional and physical scars left by these medical practices.
She called out the betrayal by adults and physicians who, she said, failed to honor God’s design and failed in their sacred duty to protect children.
Faith, family, and the welfare of our nation’s youth require courage to stand against false ideologies.
