Biblical Counseling Group Removes Grace Community Church From Certified Centers
Faith Facts
- ACBC removed Grace Community Church from its list of approved training centers.
- The decision followed complaints about how the church handled domestic abuse situations.
- Advocates say counseling ministries must protect victims and uphold accountability.
A leading Christian counseling organization has officially removed Grace Community Church from its list of approved training centers following a series of serious allegations.
The Association of Certified Biblical Counselors took this step after reviewing complaints regarding how the church handled domestic abuse situations.
The move follows a lawsuit filed by a congregant alleging the church failed to protect victims from abuse.
This decision underscores the vital necessity for church leadership to exercise profound wisdom and Christ-like protection over the vulnerable within the flock.
Former elder Hohn Cho said the disciplinary action was a necessary step toward prioritizing genuine care over institutional loyalty.
He noted that the removal reflects a commitment to the well-being of those seeking counsel.
“I commend ACBC for taking this action, and I pray it reflects a continuing commitment to genuine care for counselees, over institutional loyalty,” stated Cho.
In previous testimonies, women alleged that the counseling ministry sometimes favored abusers, highlighting an urgent need for reform in pastoral guidance.
As believers, we must pray for healing for the victims and for discernment among those tasked with shepherding God’s people.
May our churches always be sanctuaries of truth and safety, reflecting the righteous character of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us continue to uphold biblical standards that defend the innocent and hold the wayward accountable.

Hegseth Links Iran Pilot Rescue to Easter Faith Narrative
Faith Facts
- The pilot was shot down on Good Friday, hidden through Saturday, and rescued on Easter morning.
- Hegseth said the pilot’s first message to rescuers was, “God is good.”
- The rescue was described as a powerful example of faith under pressure.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth recently detailed the rescue of an American pilot whose three-day ordeal in Iran echoed the Passion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The airman was shot down on Good Friday, remained hidden through Saturday, and was ultimately delivered as the sun rose on Easter Sunday.
Hegseth noted that the pilot’s first transponder message to rescuers was a simple declaration of faith amid enemy territory.
President Trump said the military campaign against the Iranian regime is nearing completion after decisive strikes against the IRGC’s command structure.
“Shot down on a Friday, Good Friday. Hidden in a cave, a crevice, all of Saturday. And rescued on Sunday. Flown out of Iran as the sun was rising on Easter Sunday.”
“A pilot reborn, all home and accounted for, a nation rejoicing. God is good. … We leave no man behind, and that is not luck.”
This rescue was presented as a powerful sign of courage, faith, and perseverance during a volatile conflict.

N.T. Wright on Salvation, Creation, and God’s Coming Kingdom
Faith Facts
- N.T. Wright says the Bible points to the renewal of creation, not escape from it.
- He argues the New Testament centers on God dwelling with His people in a restored world.
- Wright also says believers should trust God’s justice for those who have not heard the Gospel.
Renowned theologian N.T. Wright recently explored the profound biblical vision of the Second Coming, challenging believers to look beyond modern escape-based narratives.
He emphasized that Scripture points toward the glorious restoration of the entire cosmos rather than a simple flight from the world.
Wright argued that the New Testament focuses on the unification of Heaven and Earth through a divine unveiling.
This perspective aligns with the traditional Christian hope that God will dwell with His people in a perfected, physical creation.
“The whole narrative of the Bible is about creation … and creation’s renewal.”
The discussion also touched on the sovereignty of God regarding those who have not heard the Gospel.
Wright reaffirmed that the Judge of all the Earth will do right, urging believers to trust in His infinite mercy and justice.
“The problem is that most Western Christians today think that the whole point of Christianity is for our souls to go to Heaven when we die, whereas the New Testament concentrates on God coming to dwell with us.”
As we await the return of our King, let us labor with joy knowing that our work in the Lord is never in vain.

Pastor Rashad Singletary returned to his pulpit on Easter Sunday to testify of Divine protection following a harrowing carjacking. The Maryland minister and firefighter survived a gunshot wound while defending his home last Wednesday.

Despite a fractured foot, he stood before his congregation to declare that no weapon formed against a servant of God shall prosper.
“The devil thought he could stop me by getting me shot this week. Well, turn to your neighbor and say, ‘Neighbor. He is a bulletproof God.’”
“When you covered by the blood [of Jesus], you can give God a praise even when it looks bad.”
This miraculous survival serves as a powerful reminder that our lives are in the Lord’s hands. We must continue to stand firm in faith, knowing that the light of Christ overcomes all darkness and violence in our communities.
