Activists Disrupt Minnesota Church Worship Service
Faith Facts
- Activists interrupted a Sunday worship service at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, protesting against the involvement of a pastor connected to ICE.
- The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating the incident for possible criminal violations of federal law.
- Protesters targeted Pastor David Easterwood, who reportedly leads a local ICE field office.
Our places of worship should remain sanctuaries of peace, free from disruptive protests that hinder Christians from gathering in faith. The Department of Justice is taking these threats to religious liberty seriously and has begun an investigation to ensure that such actions are addressed under the law.
Federal officials affirmed that attacks on churches and the intimidation of believers will not be tolerated. Christians understand the importance of upholding both the rule of law and the freedom to worship without fear.
“A house of worship is not a public forum for your protest! It is a space protected from exactly such acts by federal criminal and civil laws! Nor does the First Amendment protect your pseudo journalism of disrupting a prayer service. You are on notice!”
Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon
Senior Pastor Jonathan Parnell emphasized the inappropriateness of disturbing church services, urging respect for the right of Christians to worship freely. Demonstrators’ calls and slogans, aimed at church leadership and law enforcement, reflect broader tensions across America.
“This is unacceptable. It’s shameful to interrupt a public gathering of Christians in worship. We are here to worship Jesus. That’s why we are here.”
Senior Pastor Jonathan Parnell
American Christians, now more than ever, must stand strong in their faith and rely on God to guide this nation through cultural challenges and efforts to undermine religious freedom. Stay informed, pray for our church leaders, and keep shining a light for faith, family, and freedom.

Christian Witness Faces Imperial Temptations in Modern Warfare – God’s Truth Shines Through Trials
Faith Facts
- Western reactions often prioritize familiar wars over non-Western Christian voices, revealing inconsistent moral vision.
- Augustine’s Just War doctrine shifted war’s moral burden to rulers, enabling Christian complicity in empires.
- Biblical prophets and Jesus’ cross warn against empire’s domination, calling believers to faithful witness amid conflict.
Jubilant demonstrators rallied near the White House supporting regime change in Iran after U.S. and Israel eliminated Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on February 28, 2026.
During Russia’s 2022 Ukraine invasion, evangelical leaders prioritized prayer for peace in Ukraine.
They also prayed for conflict zones like Yemen, Sudan, and Congo, yet attention quickly faded.
“If, therefore, a just man is perhaps serving as a soldier under a godless human king, he can correctly fight at his command so as to preserve the order of civil peace. This is certain when what is commanded is not against the commandment of God, or when it is not certain whether it is or is not.”
“In the latter case, the injustice in commanding perhaps makes the king guilty, but his order in obeying proves the soldier innocent.”
– Augustine
As patriots grounded in Scripture, let us pray fervently for families enduring war, reject imperial temptations, and uphold freedom through Christ-centered discernment.

God’s Truth Confronts a Growing Threat to Constitutional Freedoms – Hope Prevails Through Faith
Faith Facts
- Johnson highlighted widespread concern over demands to impose Sharia law, conflicting directly with America’s foundational charter.
- Rep. Chip Roy launched Sharia-Free America Caucus amid reports of Muslim enclaves forming no-go zones in Texas, mirroring Europe’s failures.
- Johnson affirmed the Bible does not compel accepting immigrants who refuse assimilation, prioritizing national sovereignty and faith values.
House Speaker Mike Johnson boldly addressed the growing danger of Sharia law in America, declaring it utterly incompatible with our God-given Constitution that upholds freedom and self-governance.
Rooted in biblical principles of ordered liberty, Johnson emphasized that true assimilation honors the nation’s Christian heritage.
He added that it protects families from foreign ideologies that reject human dignity as affirmed in the Declaration of Independence.
Stand with patriotic leaders defending faith, family, and freedom—pray for wisdom in Congress to safeguard our constitutional republic.
“Sharia law and the imposition of Sharia law is contrary to the U.S. Constitution. Our Constitution is the greatest in the world.”
“But when you seek to come to a country and not assimilate, but to impose Sharia law — Sharia law is in conflict with the Constitution.”

- Hindu extremists mob of 100+ assaults house church in Madhya Pradesh, beating Pastor Ramesh Barela unconscious.
- Women stripped of modesty, children kicked with internal injuries during worship attack.
- Police file false conversion charges against victims while attackers named minimally.
Hindu nationalists stormed a house church in Kotwara village, Khandwa District, on February 7, assaulting 16 worshippers including women and children.
Pastor Ramesh Barela, leading the service, was beaten unconscious after extremists broke in with sticks.
“On the way to Naval’s house I crossed a village where a few supporters of the Hindu right-wing groups spotted me,” Pastor Barela told sources.
“These days they have grown their network real big; they have gotten vigilant, and word travels fast because of several WhatsApp groups.”
The mob outraged women’s modesty by pulling sarees and blouses, kicked children causing internal chest injuries, and vandalized the home searching for Bibles, finding none.
“I repeatedly told them that physical violence was not a solution to solving any grievance they might have had, and that we must sit and talk out whatever the matter was, but they continued to beat me,” Barela said.
Police hospitalized Barela and host Naval Singh, but filed counter-charges against Christians alleging illegal conversions, despite no such law barring voluntary faith.
Singh’s complaint named three attackers under atrocity laws for caste-based abuse and assault, yet anticipatory bail for Christians was denied.
Pastor Sunil Arya noted, “Naval gave their names to the police, but the police only named these three in the complaint and let the others be counted under a ‘mob’ – which does not have a face, neither a name.”
Believers worldwide must pray fervently for persecuted saints in India, echoing Christ’s words in Matthew 5:10-12 that blessing awaits those persecuted for righteousness.
Stand firm for religious liberty, upholding the God-given right to worship freely as families boldy proclaim the Gospel.
