The Christmas season inspires many to serve and give, reflecting Christ’s love through charitable deeds. New research has revealed which states lead the nation in both volunteering and supporting their neighbors financially.

Wyoming residents set a strong example by volunteering an average of 29 hours per year and donating nearly 4% of their income, while also sheltering 82% of the homeless in their state.

Utah stands out with 47% of its population volunteering and 68% assisting their neighbors, living out the biblical call to love and serve one another.

Maryland’s faithful have shown their commitment, with 16% giving financially to charity and 83% of its homeless population being sheltered.

The study also sheds light on areas needing encouragement, as New Mexico, Nevada, and Mississippi were among the least charitable states.

Christians can prayerfully consider ways to reach out and spur a revival of generosity.

As Christmas approaches, let us remember the words of Acts 20:35:

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

The influence of powerful groups has left Iraq’s Christian minority without true representation in parliament. Seats meant to uplift Christian voices are now controlled by non-Christian interests.

Manipulation of the electoral process undermines Christian values and erodes the voice of believers longing for justice and freedom. This disregard for genuine representation violates both political and spiritual integrity.

“The quota has been snatched from us. In Mosul there is no competition within Christian parties because the candidates belong to the same party – to the Babylon Movement.

Even if 1,000 Christians vote, the party will bring another 3,000 votes from non-Christians and win. So non-Christians decide for Christians when it comes to their representatives.

It’s misery for us.”

“The outcome of the current elections is already known. The elections are only symbolic for the international community to show that it’s a democratic process.

After every election it is clear to us that the candidates and winners are agreed upon earlier. Most of the current representatives of Christians don’t represent us and the very few who are left don’t have any authority to make any change.

If the elections are corrupted and get the international community’s approval, this will again lead to another four years of theft, commissions and corruption.”

Christian believers must unite in prayer and action, upholding faith and justice for the persecuted church worldwide. Stand firm in the face of injustice, and advocate for the freedoms that God has granted to all His children.

• This gathering comes weeks after conservative Christian leader Charlie Kirk was tragically killed at the same location.
• The event aims to inspire around 10,000 attendees and reaches over 60 local congregations through livestreams.

The “Hope for America” crusade is set to deliver the Gospel message amidst a community wrestling with grief and searching for hope in Jesus. Organizers responded swiftly to local pastors requesting immediate encouragement for the hurting campus and community.

Greg Laurie shared, “We immediately reached out to the Utah pastors to offer our support. We asked if there was anything we could do. They responded, ‘Come sooner. Our community is hurting.’”

TPUSA, while not involved in organizing the crusade, has offered its full support, and many in the faith community see this outreach as vital for restoring hope and faith following tragedy.

“Charlie Kirk embodied that hope. His life and tragic murder have become a wake-up call to Utah, to our nation, and even to the world, especially to young people. Our desire is for them to discover the same hope Charlie had and to follow Jesus Christ,” Laurie added.

Pastor Lucas Miles, senior director at TPUSA Faith, affirmed, “His boldness in bringing the Gospel to hurting communities like Utah Valley University is exactly what America needs right now. It is a clear and unapologetic message of hope, redemption and truth found only in Jesus Christ.”
